I have tried several memory foam mattresses including Tempur Pedic Cloud Supreme. I wanted a a more plush, sumptuous feel with decent support that didn't sleep too hot. I am convinced this mattress is the ticket. It's pricey, yes. But not as exorbitant as the top of line Breeze tempur pedic. But, while there is some heat absorption in ALL memory foam mattresses, this one included, the Epic is far less hot then the Tempur Pedic. The Epic also has a more luxurious feel.
I LOVE THIS MATTRESS. It is worth every penny. Trouble is, I can't wait to get into it at night and find it tough to leave it in the morning!
I am beyond pleased with my decision to buy this bed. I originally wanted a temperpedic but could not find one that wasn't like sleeping on a rock at a very expensive price. I found the icomfort Epic and immediately fell in love. I've had the Epic for almost 2 months now and I still get excited to go to bed. This bed is soft enough without compromising support. I also sleep pretty cool at night which is what I was looking for in a bed. This is an absolutely amazing bed and I would recommend to anyone.
I looked at a lot of mattresses and found the IComfort mattress was the only compromise my wife and I found but were skeptical until we got it. There is a slight break in period but not long before we had our best sleep in years. I have many back and neck problems from all my years racing but I now am able to sleep without tossing turning or waking up in so much pain. I also bought their sheets mattress cover and pillow my wife said we could get anywhere but once she slept in them and on pillow she said I was right to have made that choice. Look at there accessories worth the money and perfect fit!!!
I am generally warm at night, but this mattress is cool as advertised. The motion and massage functions provide relief to tired muscles. We purchased split california king, so we each can control our own position. I was worried about the height because we wanted to retain our existing headboard. With the shortest possible legs for the motion bases, we are able to use our existing headboard. When the bed is made it looks like a king, cannot notice two mattresses. I also am thankful for the appearance of the base. I am not a fan of bed skirts - not necessary with this stylish base. Our comforter fits perfectly with a little of the base showing around the bottom. Many great features as described - easy to follow remote instructions - exceeds our expectations.
Before i got my Serta mattress I woke up every morning with tight, achy shoulders and back. I thought I was from chasing around my 2 kids all day. Fast forward and me and my husband decide to get a Serta for our anniversary. I have had zero, I mean absolutely no more back or shoulder problems in the morning. I am amazed!! I lay down on this mattress and It somehow forms to me perfectly for a great nights rest
We bought our king sized iComfort EFX mattress and box springs on 9/06/2014. Now, a year later, we hate it!! We are both side sleepers and we toss and turn all night long. Both of us wake up with sore hips from sleeping on this mattress. So much for pressure relief! The fabric of the mattress is nice, that's not the issue. We both sleep on our sides and near the edge of the bed on each side and it feels like we have created a dent in our spots. We have rotated the mattress, which at first, helped, but it wasn't long before the problem reoccurred. Supposedly our mattress has gel cooling technology. I say "supposedly" because I can't tell that it has anything cooling. We bought a mattress cover from the store for it #we were told we'd void our warranty if we didn't use it#. I use thin sheets on the bed and the only thing else we use is a light quilt with no batting in it for a blanket, so the issue is not the bedding that makes us get overheated at night. We paid well over 3,000 dollars for this king set. I am very disappointed and sorry we ever made the purchase. We bought it on credit so we are sadly still paying for it too. We waited 10 years to buy a new set and were so excited with all the reviews we read. But it just didn't work out for us. I wish now we'd just bought a regular mattress and box springs. We'd paid a lot less and probably been just as satisfied with it as we were the old set for 10 years. I have contacted Serta to see if anything can be done about this.
This bed was really great at first. Did what it was supposed to do with the memory foam providing a really nice, soft, yet supportive cushion. But very quickly it stopped doing that. Now I have all the pains I did with our regular mattress. My shoulders and my hips in particular just ache on this bed. It was so expensive so we are stuck with it. I would keep looking if I were you.
Bought this mattress about a year ago and fell in love with it. My wife and I were a bit skeptical about purchasing a foam memory mattress at first but from the first night on it was a pleasure to sleep on.
My review is for the queen size. My old mattress was about 15 years old, so definitely time for a new one. My cousin recommended to check out the memory foam options. With having a slipped disc ( bad back since I was about 17, now 31) figured I'd try them out. First trip to the store and laying on a few I was sold. I was hesitant on purchasing a "soft" mattress after being told for years firm is the way to go with back problems.
The store I first stopped in happened to be owned by an old friend I hadn't seen since high school so he promised a great deal. (Thanks again Mitch) After laying on a few different levels of firmness I layer down on the "Epic" model. Right away it just felt different, I would say just right. So I made the jump and purchased this one at a great price.
It's been about 2 weeks and so far I would call it perfect. My back pain in the morning has improved greatly.
