Perfect Sleeper®

So Comfortable, You'll Never Count Sheep Again!

Engineered to help solve 5 common sleep problems

A good, comfortable night's sleep is something everyone wants – and needs. Sleep refreshes us and helps us feel and perform better throughout our busy days. Let’s face it - sleep is more than just sleep. It’s a restorative necessity that is essential to a healthy and active life. Yet, many of us suffer poor sleep from time to time.

The good news is that it does not have to be this way. Better sleep can be as simple as sleeping on a better mattress.

The Only Official Mattress of the National Sleep Foundation

Every Perfect Sleeper mattress is designed with input from the National Sleep Foundation to help address these 5 common sleep problems*: Tossing and Turning, Lack of Support, Uncomfortable Sleep Temperature, Partner Disturbance and Mattress Roll-Off or Sag.

Select Perfect Sleeper mattress models are now compatible with a Serta adjustable foundation, including our new Pivot™ head-up model and our Motion Essentials™ model.

Experience the Benefits of an Adjustable Foundation

  • Customized Comfort & Support

Adjust the head and/or foot of your mattress to find the perfect position.

  • Ease back, neck & shoulder pain

Elevating the head and foot of the mattress can help alleviate pressure on your back, neck and shoulders.

  • Improve Circulation

Elevating your head and feet can help increase blood flow, which can help reduce tossing and turning.

  • Reduce Snoring

With an adjustable foundation, you can adjust the position of your head to help open up airways and help reduce snoring.

While many have told us they experience these benefits from an adjustable foundation, these claims have not been validated by medical testing. Your bed’s foundation is not a medical device. Please consult your doctor if you suffer from any of these medical conditions.

Comfort Choices

  • Firm

Our firm Perfect Sleeper mattresses have a firmer feel at the surface, but with subtle cushioning to help reduce pressure-build up.

  • Plush

Our plush Perfect Sleeper mattresses have more softness, or “give”, at the surface from additional layers of foam and fiber.

  • Pillow Top

Our pillow top Perfect Sleeper mattresses have an additional layer of upholstery at the surface for enhanced softness and cushioning.

  • Memory Foam

Our new memory foam Perfect Sleeper mattresses feature a foam support core in place of a traditional innerspring, and offer the unique, contouring comfort of memory foam.

*Serta’s Comfort Scales are meant to be directional only. For example, select plush models may rank more towards the soft side of our scale and select Pillow Top models may rank more towards the center of our scale. Comfort Scale rankings will vary by individual model.

Perfect Sleeper® Shopping Guide & Tips

Are you ready to visit your local retailer and shop for your new mattress? It doesn’t have to be overwhelming! Follow our 5 simple tips below and you will be on your way to a better night’s sleep:

Shop with your significant other - Remember that comfort is subjective and varies from person to person, so you can’t assume that your partner will like every type of mattress you like. By shopping with your partner, you can both agree upon a new mattress that is comfortable and supportive for both of you.

Find your comfort level first - Your local mattress retailer may have a lot of models on their floor. Don’t let this overwhelm you! Start by trying out the different comfort choices (firm, plush, pillow top, memory foam) so you first get an idea of which types of mattresses you should continue to try.

Don’t rush -  Your new mattress will play a significant role in the quality of your sleep for years to come. Spend several minutes trying out each mattress model in various positions and talking with your partner about what you like and dislike about each mattress you try. Don’t be afraid to ask your sales associate questions, either.

Try an adjustable foundation -  Today’s adjustable foundations are designed to enhance your mattress experience by allowing you to adjust the head and/or foot of your mattress. You may find that this enhancement is just what you and your sleep partner need.

Know your retailer’s policies -  We are offering these shopping tips to help you select the right mattress. However, we know that it’s possible to choose a mattress that ends up being too firm or too soft for you and/or your partner. So, it is important to understand your retailer’s return and exchange policies before you purchase.

Your body’s comfort and support needs are as unique as you are. So, when it comes time to choose your next mattress, it’s important to understand your options and to take the time needed to find the right match for you. Remember, your mattress plays an important role in the quality of your sleep, and you will sleep on it for years to come!
