Serta Perfect Sleeper Mattress

Choice availability varies by retailer. Because comfort is personal, we recommend that you test the different options to determine what is best for you. In our comfort option descriptions, we talk about Comfort and Support. Comfort is what you feel at the sleep surface when you lie down. Our comfort layers provide soft cushioning and help reduce tossing and turning. The fewer additional comfort layers there are at the top of the mattress, the closer you will sleep to the support system. Support comes from the innerspring (or the foam core in an all-foam mattress) and provides the back support you need while you sleep. All Serta models, firm and soft, are designed to provide proper back support.

Serta Euro Top Mattress

The Euro Top model features an additional upholstery layer at the top of the mattress for added softness at the sleep surface, like the Pillow Top. What makes the Euro Top different is its tailoring, which creates a slightly firmer feel than the Pillow Top. This model is recommended for those who prefer the feel of the additional upholstery layer, but want something slightly firmer than the Pillow Top while still feeling the benefits of proper back support.

Serta Firm Mattress

The traditional Firm model offers classic tailoring with fewer plush comfort layers at the sleep surface than our other models. This means that you will feel the support system more prominently when you lie down. It does not have as much “give” or softness at the sleep surface when compared to the traditional Plush model. This is the firmest of all Serta models and is recommended for those who prefer a harder sleeping surface.

Serta Pillow Top Mattress

The Pillow Top model features an additional upholstery layer at the top of the mattress for added softness at the sleep surface. The additional upholstery layer allows you to sleep slightly farther from the support system, so you will feel more softness while still feeling the benefits of the support. It is softer than our Euro Top model. The Pillow Top is recommended for those who prefer the cradling comfort of the additional upholstery layer while still feeling the benefits of proper back support.

Serta Plush Mattress

The traditional Plush model offers classic tailoring but has more “give” or softness at the sleep surface when compared to the traditional Firm model. The difference in feel comes from additional plush comfort layers at the top of the mattress. It does not have the additional upholstery layer found in our Pillow, Euro and Ultra Cushion Top, so you will sleep closer to the support system of the bed. The Plush model is recommended for those who prefer a softer feel than the traditional Firm without the additional upholstery layer.
